Meet Gabriela Stephanie
My pronouns are she/her/ella.
My Story
I am a Maquilishuat seed transplanted in Los Angeles, California.
I am the daughter of immigrants from El Salvador, a first-generation doctoral student, a sister, an aunt, and a proud mother to a 10-year-old German Shepherd named Ivy. I earned my master's in Clinical Psychology through the Aliento Program at Pepperdine University and completed my B.A. in Psychology with a minor in Dance at Loyola Marymount University, after transferring from Santa Monica College.
My passion lies in enhancing mental health accessibility and bridging gaps through a Mujerista and Liberation Psychology framework. My therapeutic philosophy is community-based, emphasizing healing and wellness by integrating the arts, education, and culturally attuned ancestral practices.
My Work
I aspire to work with individuals, couples, and families who seek to enhance their dynamics and transition from merely surviving to truly thriving. My therapeutic framework is guided by Emotionally Focused Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Family Systems, and Multicultural principles. I am honored to create a shared space with my clients and look forward to joining you on your journey toward wellness.
